Federal contractors and subcontractors with contracts or subcontracts valued at $150,000 or more must submit the VETS-4212 report to the U.S. Department of Labor between August 1 and September 30 each year. The 2025 filing deadline is September 30.
The VETS-4212 report tracks the number of veterans in a contractor’s workforce, broken down by specific veteran categories such as:

This annual report fulfills requirements under the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).
