Q.- Are third parties allowed to pay for someone’s COBRA coverage?

A.- There are no restrictions on who can pay the premium for COBRA coverage. If you are continuing coverage under COBRA and relying on someone else to pay the monthly premiums, you should ensure they do so timely. Coverage may be canceled if not paid within 30 days of the monthly premium due date.
